The Bixby North Intermediate staff is thrilled to welcome everyone back for the 2024-25 school year! We hope this email finds you and your family relaxed and enjoying the summer! Just a few more days before we are back in the swing of things. We're all looking forward to seeing those familiar (and some new!) faces on the first day of school.
For those of you that are joining the BNI family and I haven’t met yet, WELCOME! I'm Libby VanDolah, BNI's Principal, and I'm thrilled to have you join our Spartan family. For the past five years, I've had the privilege of serving BNI, starting as Assistant Principal and transitioning to Principal these past three years. I'm a proud Spartan mom myself (one of my kids thrives right here at BNI!), with a husband who's also dedicated to education as a teacher at Bixby 9th Grade Center. We're a Sooner household (Boomer!), and I hold degrees from both the University of Oklahoma and Northeastern State University. Here at BNI, we believe in the power of collaboration – "it takes a village" to raise a child, after all. That's why I'm so passionate about working alongside our students, teachers, and of course, you, our amazing parents. Together, we'll create a supportive and enriching environment where every child can flourish. Welcome to BNI – we're excited to have you on this journey!
Let's meet our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Natali Davidson! A fellow Northeastern State alum (Go RiverHawks!), Mrs. Davidson also holds a degree from Southern Nazarene. She's been married to her husband Tyler for 7 years, and together they're raising two adorable boys, Lincoln and Bodey. Mrs. Davidson is thrilled to welcome parents back into the building this year and is eager to dedicate her energy to fostering connections with every BNI student.
Mark your calendars! Our "Meet the Teacher" event is happening on August 14th. It's a great chance to explore the school, pick up your security tags and car rider information, join the PTO, stock up on Spirit Wear, get bus route details, and much more!
Important note: On the morning of August 14th, you'll receive an email with your child's homeroom teacher assignment. Haven't received an email? Double-check your enrollment and for any holds on your child's account. Your child's homeroom teacher will have their complete schedule.
Can't make "Meet the Teacher"? No worries! Just connect with your child's homeroom teacher beforehand, and they'll ensure your child is ready for the first day of school on August 20th.
