Dear West Elementary Families,
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, things tend to get busy very quickly! Our days are full of learning, special events, and celebrations, and while it’s an exciting time, it can also feel a little overwhelming for our students.
One of the best ways we can support our children during this season is by staying consistent at home. Keeping regular routines, especially bedtime, helps students come to school rested, focused, and ready to finish the year strong.
We also encourage you to continue reinforcing our school procedures and expectations. A quick reminder at home about listening, following directions, and showing kindness goes a long way in helping our classrooms run smoothly during this busy time.
Finally, I want to take a moment to recognize our incredible teachers. They are pouring so much into your children each and every day. If you have a chance, a kind note, a word of encouragement, or a small gesture of appreciation can mean more than you know. Staff Appreciation Week is an annual celebration that kicks off next week. As always, thank you so much to our amazing PTO for showering our staff with love.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are so proud of the growth our students have made, and we look forward to ending the year on a positive and joyful note together.
With gratitude,
Libby McNamara
