Dear West Elementary Families,
We’ve had such an incredible journey so far, and I want to take a moment to celebrate all that our students, staff, and families have accomplished this year. Your dedication, support, and enthusiasm continue to make a difference every single day.
As we approach the final stretch of the year, I encourage you to help your child keep routines consistent. Whether it's making sure they get enough rest, maintaining healthy habits, or sticking to a regular study schedule, keeping things steady helps provide a sense of security and allows them to finish the year strong.
Take time to reflect on all that your child has learned and the progress they've made. Whether it’s a special project, improvement in a subject, or simply growing in confidence, every achievement is worth celebrating. Your encouragement goes a long way, so continue to cheer them on as they keep reaching new milestones!
Open communication is so important for the success of our students. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions, concerns, or celebrations. We are always here to work together to support your child’s growth and development.
Keep Reading Every Night! Reading remains a key factor in your child’s success, and we want to encourage all families to keep reading every night. Whether it’s a chapter book, a picture book, or even a fun article, reading together can be a wonderful bonding experience. Your child’s love of reading grows when they see it valued at home.
As we look ahead to summer, we want to highlight the Tulsa County Library's Summer Reading Program. This is a great opportunity for students to continue their learning while having fun during the break! Be sure to sign up and join in on the exciting activities they have planned.
Additionally, we are opening our doors on May 7th from 5-6 to new families. Please share with your neighbors or friends who will have students joining us for the first time in the 25-26 school year. This is an opportunity for families to tour the building, ask questions, and become more comfortable. We will have additional opportunities throughout the summer and in August.
Thank you once again for all of your continued support. I’m so proud of all our students and the hard work they've put in this year. Let’s make the last few months of school just as incredible as the rest!
Wishing You Well,
Libby McNamara
