Dear West Elementary Families,
Can you believe it? We blinked and the school year is already coming to a close! What an incredible journey it’s been—full of growth, giggles, and a few glue stick emergencies.
We are so lucky to have such an amazing group of families, students, and staff. Your support, your spirit, and your snack donations (seriously, thank you!) have made this school year one to remember. We couldn’t do what we do without the love and involvement of this community.
As we head into summer, a few parting reminders:
Please practice reading—books don’t melt in the sun!
Join the summer reading program at the public library. It’s free, fun, and might just come with prizes (and air conditioning!).
Make memories—catch fireflies, jump in puddles, build forts, and say yes to popsicles before dinner (just once or twice).
Have a safe, happy, and joy-filled summer. We can’t wait to see those smiling faces again in the fall—with taller shoes, longer legs, and probably a few missing teeth.
Wishing You Well,
Libby McNamara
