Greetings from Principal Vernon!
Good afternoon! Happy New Year from Bixby Middle School. I hope you and your family had a rejuvenating summer break! Our staff is looking forward to continuing the academic journey with your student this next year. There will be a great deal of information being sent during the next couple of days, so if you you have any questions please message your AP or Counselor by alphabet so that we can help answer those questions as soon as possible. The changes to cell phone policy has generated the most questions so far. We strongly believe this change will benefit students. To prevent students from feeling the change is too abrupt, parents might begin to expand the amount of time students are off their phone during the day until it matches the length of day at school. With your continued support, we can successfully increase student engagement and continue our journey towards a successful year!

Upcoming Dates and Information
Chromebook Pick Up is Monday, 8/12
Chromebooks can be picked up in the Media Center from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 - 5:00 pm. Access to the rest of the building with be closed.
Before you can pick up your student's Chromebook, please fill out the necessary forms in the link below.

Schedules will be available Tuesday, 8/13 @ 9:00 am.
Your student's schedule will be available on PowerSchool.
Grades will be available on Canvas.
Meet the Teacher is Wednesday 8/14 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
The building will be open for you to have an opportunity to walk your student's schedule. Below are maps of each building and floor. If your student is interested in signing up for a locker, please click the link below.
Transportation Information
The building opens at 8:25 each morning for both car rider and bus riders. Please refer to the maps for our traffic routes. Normal dismissal is at 3:46 pm and 2:47 pm on early release Fridays.
