🍂 A November Thank You and Celebration of Success!
As we step into November, the season of giving thanks, we want to pause and express our profound gratitude for the recent successes we’ve shared.
This month, we are celebrating two major accomplishments made possible by your support. First, a massive thank you for making our Color Run Fundraiser such a vibrant success! Your participation and generosity raised vital funds that will go directly to teacher grants, helping our educators bring innovative ideas to life in the classroom. Second, we want to acknowledge the truly outstanding attendance we saw at our recent fall parent-teacher conferences. This high level of engagement demonstrates the strong partnership between our families and school, which is absolutely essential for every student’s success. We are truly blessed to have such a supportive, committed community and are thankful for the overall blessings of the season.
🌟 Celebrating Our Students
We also want to take a moment to shine a spotlight directly on our amazing students! We were incredibly proud of the spirit and solidarity shown during our Pink Out Spirit Day, where students dressed up to raise awareness for an important cause. Additionally, a huge round of applause goes out to our dedicated Robotics Teams! They recently attended their first of a three part tournament at the Innovation Hub and had a fantastic showing, competing against seasoned teams and finishing an impressive 6th, 9th, 11th, 12th, and 17th place of 33 teams. This remarkable debut performance speaks volumes about their hard work, critical thinking, and collaborative spirit. We celebrate all of our students for their engagement, dedication, and the pride they bring to our school community every day. A huge shout out to our amazing teachers, Mrs. Foster, Mrs. Barrick, and Mr. Fritz for their leadership with these students, and for the parent volunteers who are always incredibly generous with their time!
We are truly blessed to have such a supportive and committed community. Thank you for being an indispensable part of our school family and for contributing to the overall blessings of the season!
In gratitude and service, Mrs. Moore

Counselors Corner
Character Trait of the Month: Cooperation
This month, we’re focusing on cooperation—working together to reach a common goal! Cooperation helps students learn the value of teamwork, patience, and understanding. When children practice cooperating with others, they build important life skills like communication, problem-solving, and empathy. Whether they’re partnering up in class, playing a game at recess, or helping at home, every act of cooperation strengthens our school community.
Expectation Focus: Cheering Each Other to Success Our expectation focus this month is “We will cheer each other to success.” We’re encouraging students to be positive supporters of one another—celebrating classmates’ achievements, offering kind words, and lifting each other up. A kind cheer or a simple “you can do it!” can make such a big difference in helping students feel confident and included. When we all celebrate each other’s efforts, everyone wins!
Food Drive for East Intermediate Students
We are excited to announce our Food Drive to support East Intermediate students and families! We’re collecting non-perishable food donations to help provide meals during times away from school, such as weekends and breaks. This drive is especially important right now, as the current government shutdown is impacting SNAP benefits for many families in our community. Every item donated can make a meaningful difference for a student in need. Suggested donations include ramen noodles, applesauce cups, fruit cups, granola bars, and other easy-to-prepare foods. Thank you for showing cooperation and compassion through your generosity!
Family Tip of the Month Try a “team challenge” at home this week! Work together as a family to complete a small task—like cooking dinner, cleaning up a room, or building something fun. Afterwards, talk about how each person’s contribution helped reach the goal. It’s a great way to practice cooperation and remind kids that teamwork makes everything a little easier (and a lot more fun)!
